Lap-band

Any lap-banders on this site? See a lot of RNY, but haven't seen any lap-banders, where are you hiding???? Deby

Hi Judy, My surgery was 02/14/07. I'm doing fine. Getting a little impatient about how long till first fill, 04/24. But nothing I can do about it. Was allowed to advance diet as tolerated, & have been on mostly solid food or about two wks. Have only lost 5 lbs. since surgery. Was told this is normal & in some cases a weight gain could happen before fill. Deby

Lap-Bander here, I am orginally from Flint so I know your area, I live on the West side now. I am usually on the lapband forum. Have you tried it?

Hi Shelley I've gone there a couple of times. Love Wendell. Sometimes I get very confused by all the different suggestions. Seemes no two physicians give the same directions to their patients. Love to hear frome you in future Deby
