I know that I will never have flat abs. (well unless I get a TT) But I will be damned if I don't try. I have a few more weeks before I can go balls to wall crazy with my workout routine, but what are some of your ab exercises that you all do? I started back on the treadmill this week, but I want to do more. I know most of this final weight is excess skin, but I can still tone up even without having the skin removal. I want to be smoking hot by summer time.

Girl, you already look smoking hot! But you can do it! We recently invested in home gym. I do weight lifting routine 3X week and run the treadmill on alternate days. I have noticed more inches going even though the pounds aren't dropping the way I would like yet. But soon the pool will also be open for the summer and I can start my water aerobics. YIPPEE!!!!

Hiya Julie I swear by Yoga I enjoy it, but it also works at flexibility and long lean muscles. I also walk, and when I can fit it in I swim, but Yoga is the big one. It's relaxing as well as exercise. It's a way to calm my mind and you see progress pretty quickly if you are consistent. My ultimate Yoga goal is to touch the back of my heels with my nose (yea- that's a ways off! but it's good to have goals!) But i have found it tightens up those muscles that we forgot we had. or the ones that forgot they were supposed to do anything. Good luck! Jennifer

Hi Julie, I actually started Pilates about a year ago. When I started I couldn't even sit up, and wasn't even all that sure I actually HAD abdominal muscles :>) Turns out I do, they're just hiding under a lot of fat (which is being removed April 5th!). But in the meantime I have strangthened my abs to the point that my ps is pretty sure that he will have very little to do when he gets in there! Like Yoga, which I agree is amazing, Pilates builds long lean muscles and focuses on the core, which is basically abs. So good luck! Smokin' hot by summer huh? I may try and get there with you! Okay, mine might be more like late summer ;>) haha! OH, and if you have comcast, they offer free Pilates videos on cable. I thinks it in the main menu under exercise. Donna

Julie, Now if weighing 120 killed you, then all the fun would be gone I know this sounds cheesey....but I use the Core Secrets ball workout DVD. I bought it at Dick's for about $50. I lost hope of a flat tummy, years of hard living and a C section took care of that. But, about 2 weeks after using this program, I had a waist! I didn't look like a tree trunk any more! I alternate aerobics one day and the DVD the next. It's good if you can't get out to the gym. I can't say it did much for my arms, but it sure did help my waist and chest. Good Luck! Brenda

Wait wait, helped out your chest in a good way or a bad way? LOL I don't want to lose any of my chest. I have one of those balls (not the core secret ball) and I like it a lot. If I had the strength, I would get back to my Tae-Bo Wow does that kick my butt. Thanks for the suggestions.
