I think I found my "mojo"......
My exercise and get motivated "mojo" that is!!!!! I am thrilled to say that I actually got my buns out of bed early to workout before work. I've decided to go back to the basics and get moving again. Man, I sure do miss that honeymoon period. So I need to start making myself a priority again and just do it! I've been adding more protein shakes to my diet and I've already noticed that I am eating much less. So hopefully I will not be having any back spasms again anytime soon so I can continue to do my cardio. My goal is to drop 20 big ones!
Wish me luck!!! I want this to last!

Carey
Hey Carey,
Glad you found your mojo. The pounds started to creep back on so I'm trying real hard to get them off. I now have 18#'s to lose instead of 12#'s. I am determined to get them off
I tried the pre-op liquid diet, but didn't do very good with it, so I went back to the basics. I know we can do this. We didn't come this far just to gain it back. Best wishes to you.
God bless you,
Annette

Hi Annette,
You are so itty bitty, I would have never known. But I know exactly where you are coming from. I did not go through all of this to see myself going in the wrong direction. Just need to be a little selfish right now and make myself a priority! I deserve it and so do you! Keep in touch! We'll keep each other posted on our progress!
Take care,
Carey
Good for you Carey!!!
I need to get this butt out of bed and do the same! The weather has finally broken (somewhat)...at least the roads are clear up north here, so I intend to get out walking...even if it's only for a half an hour at a time. I live about 10 walking minutes from work so thinking about just parking my car and walking back and forth to work as well as lunch hour. That gives me 40 minutes, not in a row, granted, but at least I will be moving! Best of luck to you and all of us! Theresa

Hello there Miss Theresa!
I've been talking about getting back on track too long - tired of hearing myself! Just needed to actually do it and stop talking about it! I also need to get over the fact that if I only have 30 mins or can only work out 3 days a week - that it's enough. It's better than not doing it. I've always felt that if I can't put at least an hour or two and do it 5 or 6 days - I wasn't doing enough - why bother. So I've been having therapy with myself
and decided I needed to get over myself and just do it and IT IS enough and not to worry about it. I'm always a cheerleader for everyone else BUT myself ??????
Good idea on the walking - gas is too expensive anyways! Think of the money you will save!
Take care,
Carey
