BUTT KICKING NEEDED!
I am only 10 weeks from my one-year anniversary and had my first gain this week since my journey started. It was 1.5 lbs, I expected it but it sure did hurt. I haven't been eating the way that I should and don't get nearly enough protein in. I find that I'm eating way too much junk and not enough of the good stuff. I know that I have to get back to basics or 1.5 lbs will turn into 5 and so on.
So with that being said what I'm looking for are some word of encouragement or a good ole butt kicking. Also I am wondering if someone out there could post the plateau diet.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Wow Stacy I just posted about finding my "mojo" this morning. Go back to the basics is right. I just looked up that diet as well. Here it is...
Plateau Buster Diet:
#1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau
#2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day
#3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day (some suggest at least 60 and up to 80 gr)
#4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day
beef
pork
chicken
turkey
lamb
fish
eggs
low fat cheese
cottage cheese
plain yogurt or artificially sweetened
peanut butter
beans/legumes
You may also have:
sugar free popsicles
tea or coffee
sugar free soda
sugar free jello
broths
crystal light drinks
#5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!!
#6 - Keep a food diary and try to get up to 30 mins of exercise daily
Hope it works for you - good luck!
Carey
Thank you everyone for your words of encouragement. I do know what I need to do.........it the whole getting off the duff and doing it. I am going to get my rear in gear and make this work. I have not come this far to start going backward.
I actually enjoy shopping for clothes, shoes and all the other girly stuff now. And it is only going to get better.
Thanks again!
Stacy
I can't add much to what has already been said. But I would like you to know that it is good you are recognizing what you are doing wrong and are willing to address it. Hey that's half the battle. Just know that we are here for you, Now go out and find YOUR mojo. I am going to hunt for mine to, I know I put it somewhere.....LOL. I just love Carey!!!-----Toni
Dear Stacey,
Yes you need to watch it; but beating yourself up is not the answer! Sometimes that was the contributing factor that got us here in the first place. You just need to remember how you courageously struggled to get this far. YOU go girl; get back on that track, take care of yourself. Sincerely, Judy
