Guess what?
Guess what's back in full force? That stupid pain of mine. What the heck! It's on my left side and is also in my back.
I'm just not convinced anymore that it has anything to do with my gastric bypass. I mean, if two surgeries could not correct the issue, then what? Now what? This sucks. Just when I thought I was in the clear.
Has anyone had this problem? Ongoing left sided pain with back pain.

Isn't it frustrating!!! Have they checked you for a bowel obstruction at least a partial obstruction? I went thru something similar 6mo. or so ago, no one could seem to figure out what was going on. What is frustrating is that the last time I was hospialized for it. with in a one month time I put on 20lbs. Do you know how much we would have to eat to put on that much in 30 days. No one can explain how or why it happened. I am extremely frustrated to say the least. But I to am kicking up the exercise, I hope it will help. I hope you can figure out what is going on. I would see your Surgeon as soon as you can. Could it be scar tissue? take care---Toni
Yes they have checked me for that, but not recently. The last time they opened me up (beginning of Feb.) he resected a portion of my bowel. I would hope that I wouldn't have developed an obstruction. I honestly don't think that's it because it's the same pain that I have been having since this all started back in December.

I am sorry that things keep going haywire for you. Hope they find out what is wrong and start getting you back on the road to true health! How are you doing with your eating, drinking; and protein? I am still having difficulties. Do they have any clues as to what this might be? Could it be scar tissue? Do you still have your ovaries? There are so many things it could be; but our first thought and the doctors will always be to the gastric bypass surgery! Good luck, Sincerely, Judy R
