Just call me "Cromagnon Woman"...

Just wanted to do a quick post to say I am home from the hospital and doing okay, walking like a cave woman, but okay, the pain is not quite as bad as I thought but the drugs are the key. Today I was able to go about 7 hours without Vicadin. I had a really bad reaction to the Morphine, thought I was going to scratch off all my skin and choke on eggs in the hospital. Feeling pretty sleepy now so I will go lay down. Thanks again for all the prayers and well wishes. Michelle

Just take it easy Michelle. Be sure to let your Doc know if you have any issues. Try to stand up straight - otherwise your back will be killing you. Take care, Carey

Thanks Carey, Going for a follow up vist on Wednesday. I do get to the straight position, its just those first few seconds that are killer. Took out my Q-ball today, so thats a plus.

Hey Suzanne, Good to hear from you too. How is the baby process going? I have had alot of time on my hands being laid off and getting surgery, so I've been on more. I go to work at my new job on April 2nd, and I am so glad! Take Care!

Hi Michelle, I am glad you are doing okay. Did you have muscle work done??? If you did, I hope your new job isn't physcial at all!! What did Dr. S. say about you going back so early? I was out six weeks but I have a physical job. Well you take care, and rest as much as possible. God Bless and take care----Toni

Hey Toni, Good to hear from you! I did have muscle work done. He thought originally it was a hernia, but when he got in there it was my abs. My job is mostly sitting and no lifting or anything strenuos. He said if I behave I should be fine. Thanks for checking on me.

Glad you are back and doing well, Who did your surgery, and how long in Hosp, do take it easy, I can so relate about walking straight it took me too long, I think if I could do it over I would have tried to stand up more often and after pain meds,Hang in its great to be on the flip side of this, Marcia

Marcia, I know what you mean about the drugs, with them I am wonder woman, without 150 years old! I had Dr. Schuhknecht, and I was in for two days. I so look foward to trying on some new "sizes!"

AAARRRGGGHHHHH Michelle, you're scaring the hell out of me! I go in two weeks. I'm terrified. I hope you feel better soon and all of the pain will be soooo worth it when we are done, ****ep telling myself that so I don't chicken out!!) Wendy
