Well, I'm convinced

I'm 100% convinced that whatever my pain issue is, it's directly related to the gastric bypass. I wasn't sure, but I'm sure now. Why? I'm sitting here dying after eating. I now notice (because it's happened on more than one occasion) that after I eat my pain increases times 10. I thought that because after two surgeries and no relief it couldn't possibly be related to the surgery. I thought maybe I was having back problems or maybe I had ovarian cysts or something. Who knows, maybe I am, but I find it odd that my pain would get so much worse after I eat if it wasn't a surgery problem. *sigh* Okay, I'm done talking about it because I am sure you are all done hearing me complain about it.

Aww Julie I am so sorry that you are in major pain....It sounds like you are really having some major troubles I know I am new here and I have not heard all that you have been through but just know that I feel for you...I have lived with pain for 10 years and they never can find out what is causing it. I think you would feel better if they could tell you. But just from the sounds of it,,,,Not like I know too much but...I think that the ulcers are hurting you when you eat...too much acid trying to break the food down...Does it hurt when you drink? If not then try to go back to drinking atleast until the doctors can help you....Again I am so sorry that you are hurting...

Hi Julie, I'm new here too and don't know your whole story, but I was wondering...have you thought about getting checked for Crohn's Disease? My husband and one of my friends has this condition. They have severe pain that doubles them over, most often after they eat, and it occurs in their side/back. It could be just coincidence that it started happening after your bypass. I dunno. Just thought I'd toss this idea out. I hope things get better for you! It sucks to hear about people in pain, whether you know them or not. Anna

Hi Julie, I am so sorry you are going thru this. It SUCKS! I hope they get to the bottom of this soon. You have want to get a second opinion. Not saying your surgeon isn't good or anything, but sometimes someone else may catch something that the original surgeon didn't. I personally think it could still be more adhesions or an ulcer in your lower intestines. But then again I haven't graduated from med school yet....LOL. Anyway I hope you feel better. God Bless and take care.-----Toni
