Prayer Request for Dr. Obeid

I am not one to go to church very often, but I guess it would be a good time to give a prayer out. Dr. Obeid who was supposed to do my surgery tomorrow at 8 am will not be doing any surgeries for at least 3 to 4 weeks. He has had a major family crisis and they are not saying much on the situation but all I can think of it that it must be bad. So if you can say a little something for the Dr. I am sure he will be needing it. Thanks Scott

I came here to post the same thing. My surgery was supposed to be in 4 days. From what little they can tell us it does indeed sound bad. I have been praying for him and will continue to do so. I was given the choice of rescheduling with a different surgeon sooner or waiting for Dr. Obeid later. I decided to wait for Dr. Obeid, not that the other surgeons aren't top notch, but Dr. Obeid isn't the head honcho for nothing. So Ive waited nearly three years, I can wait another month. If anyone *****ads this is in contact with Dr. Obeid please tell him we are praying for him and his family. Suz

I hope everything gets better for Dr. Obeid very soon. Such a wonderful man. I also received a phone call last week from them. They were rescheduling my consultation apointment with him (was going to be tomorrow) for next week (the 27th) but no one elaborated on why (though it certainly isn't any of my business). Reading this post I now wonder if I'll have it then, either.
