Pre-Ops.....
What are some of your goals you would like to achieve in...lets say 6 months?
I am just curious if you have any in mind because I have been thinking about it alot lately.
Here are a couple goals of mine:
1. To be able to cross my legs ! ! ! !
2. To lose atleast 50lbs (I have a total of 110 I would like to lose but obviously not in 6mths LOL)
3. Able to walk up and down the stairs without gasping for breath
4. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to wear a bathing suit without wearing a t-shirt over it !
5. Tie my shoes, to be able to bend over comfortably. Not leave them tied and slip them on and off
6. A meaningful one.... to have room for both my daughters to sit on my lap without sliding off and/or just plain not fitting !

Awww those sound like great goals... I myself have 156 to lose so I would say I want to be aleast 70 lbs down in 6 months if more than that great.... I want to run after my kids and not get winded. Take a long walk with my daughter and now feel like I am gonna pass out. Ohh the bathing suit thing yeah I don't want to scare my neighbors...lol
But anyway.. Do you have pre-ops or a date???????? Not that I am an impatient or anything....huh.....ohh i hope you do....
ohhh playing with the kids this summer is so important ! not being so tired to do things with them. we camp, ALOT and the kids are always wanting to do activities at the campground and I just get to tired to do much so I am really looking forward to enjoying our summer ! healthy ! and on my way to being fit !
as for pre-ops or a date... nope but i just posted a question. she called yesterday to schedule it but i didn't have a copy of my sleep study in there so do i call back and see if she got them yet ? or do I wait ... I don't want to be a pain ~~ Rona
Hi Rona! people have lost 110 in six months. so it is doable... i need to lose 100 or 110 myself.. i dont care if it takes a year!
1. to be able to wear this vintage watch that is too small for my wrist.
2. have smaller, delicate hands.. i have big manly hands.
3. crossing my legs would be sooo nice.
4. not needing a sleep apnea machine!!
5. to be able to wear my friends clothes while im losing.
6. get full body pictures taken with clothes on and be happy with the way i look.
i have a ton more! i'm so excited for this new lease on life. i hope i get it.

I would have to agree with all of your list. I would like to add the following:
1. I want to be able to teach my Granddaughters how to do cart-wheels.
2. I want to be able to reach my feet and give myself a pedicure.
3. I don't ever want to look at PLUS SIZE CLOTHES ever again!!!
I have lots, but these are some of the top ones.
Oh, I almost forgot. I have to be in Southfield next Thursday for my face to face with BCN.

By October 4, I hope to:
1) Be down 60 pounds or more
2) Be able to cross my legs
3) Buy a ton of new clothes for the winter and not feel so fat in layers
4) Walk around with my head up, look people in the eyes and be full of confidence
5) Play games with my stepson that require physical exertion and not have to stop after 5 minutes
6) Make new friends that never knew me as a fat person
7) Not be paranoid that when people whisper or giggle around me, that it's about me
Those are just a few!
