Vitamin Supplements
Hi,
My name is Marie and I've been reading this board for a few years now, however, I've never posted. I had my surgery in Sept. 2004 and have done well with the weight loss. Could some one please share the type of vitamin that they take? I've been taking a vitamin/calcium supplement from Arbonne but they have since stopped making the product I am told. I need to find a replacement but I want a good quantity vitamin that will do well too. Any suggestions made would sure be of help. There is a volume of good information on this board. Thanks to all of you for sharing.
Hi Donna,
Thanks for responding to my post. I'm taking Women 1 Complete Essentials; multivitamin & minerals with ginseng along with the calcium plus that is packaged with. Knowing that I was soon going to have to switch to something else I tried an over the counter vitamin and within just a couple of weeks I could really feel a difference. I thought perhaps low B12 levels but I've had blood work updated and my levels are fine. I'm now thinking that it's the change in the vitamin. I appreciate your checking into this for me. Thanks!
Hi Marie,
Welcome to the Michigan board. I get my vitamins from a wls dr. in Florida. He developed these vitamins and he sells them through his office. I use the multi vit. As wls patients we don't absorb regular over the counter vitamin very well, so this dr. designed these for the wls patient. I have been using them for a yr or so and ever since I started using them my levels have been normal. They are very inexpensive. I pay 16.00 a bottle. the website is www.wlsvitamins.com . Hope this helps.---Toni
Hi Marie
I take ESSENTIAL LIFE vitamins by Country Life 180 tablets for $33.29, they are chelated mineral. I order them from Nutri Foods in Royal Oak 248/541-6820 and $4.75 for shipping no matter how many items you buy. If you buy them at the store, you get a 20 % discount.
I buy Meijer brand Calcium Citrate with vitamin D.
When I went in for my blood work every thing was great.
