Don't feel stupid. If you weren't scared that would be weird. Everything will be fine. Just take a few long deep breaths when you start to get freaked out and remember you will soon be on the other side of all this looking back. Holly W

Hey Crystal I am a big baby. I don't tolerate pain very well, and I complain ALOT. That being said, when I woke up from surgery, I felt like someone took a sledgehammer to my midsection. Then I hit my pump and it took it down to being pretty uncomfortable. Two days in the hospital and the discomfort of the hospital bed was worse than the actual surgery site. I took the pain meds at nighttime for about a week after surgery. So the only real "bad" pain I felt was right when I woke up. I did have horrible nausea for two weeks after surgery, and nothing made it better. Then, one day I woke up and it was gone. My surgeon looked after me and we never really did pinpoint a reason for it. Of course you already know that everyone is different, but it's nice to hear a lot of different stories so when it's happening to you you'll know you're not the only one. Don't be nervous....you'll be fine!
