Hey I rode my bike!!!
Hey Everyone,
Hadn't riden my bike in almost 3 years; I rode it in the park 3 miles with my hubby the other day.. Wooo Hooo. I am still not strong, had to make a few stops to rest. But at this point; I will celebrate even the small victories! I have lost a total of 58.5 lbs now since Dec 12th.. My RNY was Feb 5th. I lost 27 before and the rest since. I am still struggling with an ulcer that fights me on keeping down some foods; so I take in my protein. I am going back to work Apr. 2; wish me luck. I have a very demanding job; it is very physical on your feet and fast pased. I am sort of enjoying people not recognizing me, due to the weight loss and new short red hair.LOL.. I still look in the mirror and aside from the new hair I don't seem to see that dramtic change that everyone else does. I am worried somewhat about how my co-workers are going to act; I never told them about my surgery and I never intend to! They are a bunch of judgemental jerks. I have went from a size 24 to a 16.. I do see it when I put my clothes on..My hubby is taking me to the bariatric ball at the Bavriain Inn in Frankenmuth on Apr. 7th; black tie affair oooo I get to dress up.. LOL For the first time in many years taking pride in myself. Best of Luck to all, Sincerely, Judy R.
Yeah Judy!!!! WTG!!! I haven't been on a bike in years and years... I don't know if I would remember how to ride one.. LOL...
I am sure you will have a blast at the ball. I wanted to go, but we are leaving on vacation the day before that. I can't believe they planned it for Easter weekend...
Have some fun for me would ya???

If someone asks about your weight loss, tell them that you had some stomach problems!! That's what I did.
I would give anything to be able to ride a bike. Because of my neurosurgery, I lost my balance and cooridination. When I tried to ride my bike, I went into the fence, a brick wall and a few cars.... OUCH!!!
