Local Support Group???

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if you know of any support groups in the Ann Arbor or Lansing area. I am from Howell so either way is about the same distance. Thanks, Dani

Hi Dani! I am not far from you, I am in Pinckney! I get my support from the board and the monthly Ann Arbor/Chelsea group meetings (which I have only been to a few), that are organized on this board as well. That is all I know about in the area though. Let me know if you find anything out and maybe we can go together. Shawn M.

Thanks...I will let you know if I hear anything. I do find alot of info on this board also. My surgery is next Monday and wanted to know just incase I decide to go to group afterwards. Dani

Hi Dani, First of all congratulations on your decision. This surgery was the best thing I have ever done for myself. We have a small (but lovely) group from the board that meet the first Friday of every month. The meetings have been at Panera Bread on Jackson Rd. near Zeeb. We have been meeting at 5:30 but that timeand place is negoiatable. We would love to have you with us. We look foreward to meeting you. Katie
