5 for Friday

Okay, I know this is a few hours early, but seeing as how my kids start spring break tomorrow morning, I figured if I didn't post these now I might not have time tomorrow. THE QUESTIONS: 1) Do you have anything planned for spring break this year? 2) How do you celebrate Easter? 3) Have you worn shorts yet this year? 4) When is the last time you had an actual roll of film developed? 5) Are most of your photos on electronic media, in photo albums or in a shoe box? MY ANSWERS: 1) Hubby is working but the kids and I have lots of plans for the week. This weekend, we will clean up the yard and get the pool ready to open for the season (thank goodness for heated pools) Monday--Full Blast indoor waterpark Tuesday--Movie and lunch Wednesday--Day trip to Ann Arbor Thursday--Bowling Friday--Enjoy the pool (it should be well heated by then) Weekend--Hubby is responsible for those plans LOL 2) Our kids have kind of outgrown the basket thing and we don't do candy as a family (since mom can't have it anyway) so we usually gift them gift cards to Family Christian Store and have a huge dinner (when they all get here with their spouses and kids it becomes HUGE) 3) Last week, there were a couple of days I broke the shorts out. Loved those 70 degree days! 4) I took a photography class at the local community college this past fall so I developed a bunch of b/w rolls of film myself. I'm taking another class this coming fall so I will be doing more of my own again soon. 5) I have a pretty equal spread of photos right now. I have been really getting into scrapbooking lately though and I at least now have everything organized. I have two CDs of digital photos that I need to get prints of so that I can include them in my scrapbooks but I am holding out for a good deal on the developing.

1. I am not in school and do not have kids so no plans. 2. We just eat and lay around. Enjoy the time off of work. 3. Of course I have... it was 80 degrees here one day. Of course I had a sweatshirt on but who cares. LOL 4. oh I can't even remember. I have been digitial for a long time. 5. I have most of my photos on disks or on my laptop. But I have a ton of them scrapbooked. I have completed something like 7 books. But what pics I dont put into the books are in boxes organized.

1.) my son, daughter, and I are going to see a comedy movie together, and my nursery planting will get done. I also plan to take my son and daughter out for dinner one night if money allows. I will encourage the kids to help me clean the windows inside and out with the movies and dinner as a reward. 2.) My kids have also outgrown the easter basket thing but we still like to color eggs together. 3.) I did wear shorts a couple of times but only because when it gets over 70 degrees outside, it gets pretty balmy in the house. It's too soon to turn on the A/C so I just put on some shorts and a cool shirt. 4.) I had 2 rolls developed about 2 weeks ago. They were pictures of my 8 month old grandson being born and the 2 or 3 months that followed, plus some photos of last Christmas. 5.) I have many photos on the computer but I still really enjoy my 35mm and have tons of pictures in envelopes stuffed in drawers, totes full in my closet. Not very organized so I plan to go through them all at some point and get them in some order.

Nope, I haven't been in school for some time and since I have no kids yet....I'm sure I will have to make a trip to the grocery store at some point during "spring break" so, uh, I'm going to the grocery store. Weeeeee! LOL 2. Hey, what about Passover? My side of the family is Jewish. They don't do Easter, they celebrate Passover. I'm driving downstate tonight to celebrate with them on Monday. My mom LOVES that I converted to be a Catholic. NOT! LOL Suprisingly enough my husband and I have not made our Easter plans yet. We're such slackers. I'm singing at church on Good Friday and probably during Easter Vigil, so I know that I at least need to stay in the Traverse City area. I offered to cook a huge dinner, but I don't know what's going to happen yet. 3. No and I probably will not wear them in the summer either. I'm the girl that's still wearing the sweatshirt in 100 degree weather. I am generally cold. However, I still have issues with my thighs. I hate them. 4. 2004 What's worse is that I remember that. 5. I have a mixture of everything.

CMU had their spring break already and I worked. 2) How do you celebrate Easter? I try not to eat any peeps, maybe 1 chocolate nestle crunch egg, and more than likely will be at work at 4pm like I am every sunday. 3) Have you worn shorts yet this year? yes and am wearing them right now 4) When is the last time you had an actual roll of film developed? about 2 years ago before I won my digital cam from Meijer 5) Are most of your photos on electronic media, in photo albums or in a shoe box? Both, i have hundreds on my zip drive, and more on cds, and more in an old fun covered hat box.

Well, I'm a few days late...oh, well! THE QUESTIONS: 1) Do you have anything planned for spring break this year? I am a teacher and spring break starts this coming Friday...Good Friday. I can't wait! We are staying home (hubby takes the week off, too.) We'll probably just do some work around the house...replace some windows, tear out our upstairs bathroom and start re-doing it...etc, etc. At least that's the plan...LOL! 2) How do you celebrate Easter? Spend the day with family. 3) Have you worn shorts yet this year? No, just the capris. Haven't dug out the summer clothes, yet! 4) When is the last time you had an actual roll of film developed? I've been digital since 1999. I don't even have a camera with film anymore. 5) Are most of your photos on electronic media, in photo albums or in a shoe box? Digital pics are on the computer. I print them occasionally. Developed pics are in plastic picture boxes.
