Got a Date

I finally got a date for surgery, May 1st. Have an appointment next week to begin the pre-op diet, Doc wants me on extended diet to get some weight off and liver down a little. May is a big month for me my birthday, wedding anniversery now the surgery. Looking forward to joining you all on the otherside.

Thanks Nancy I am excited. I am hoping to make one of the support group meetings soon, maybe this month if I don't have to go to Grand Rapids.

We would love to have you come to a support meeting. Just let me know when. We meet the 2nd Monday night of the month. Bring your wife too, my husband usually comes with me. nan

Hi Alan , I am so happy for you , I have Dr Foote also ..could you let me no a little about the pre-op diet when you find out , I have all my test done and am waiting on a date now for surgery ...but am wondering what I have to do before surgery ? he told me I should lose 15 pounds but that was in jan and am so afraid I might of gained weight !!am trying to watch what am eating now but its hard . good luck Sherry
