Hi All! It has been sooo long since I have been here! I am about 5 months post op and have seemed to hit a plateau. Is this normal this early in the game? I make sure I get 80-90 g of protein per day but I am sure I am not gettting in 1200 cal that my nut suggests. I walk 3 miles 3x/wk and have lost 78 lbs so far. I need to lose about 40 more to goal. I feel like I am failing.....i did have bloodwork done and my thyroid is nearly not functioning so they adjusted my medication...this could be the problem. Losing some hair too....i hate that. I have gone from a tight 22 to a comfy 18 in a little short of 5 months ...don't think I am breaking any records but I feel good.

A stall at 5 months is normal. Try upping your protein to 100 a day and add a few more calories and you should be able to kick start the loss again. I think mine lasted 2 weeks.

TOTALLY normal!!! You have to remember as you are losing all of this weight in such a short period of time, your body needs to occasionally "reset" and adjust itself to the new weight. I would continue what you are doing (as it is obviously working) but just give your body a chance to catch up Jennifer 355/211/150
