Vitamin and mineral questions
The more I think I know, the more confused I get.
If we are supposed to take iron alone, why does Hema-Plex (www.naturesplus.com) have a bunch of vitamins in it? I like the way it doesn't constipate me, too soon to know how it does for my iron levels but the list of vitamins and minerals in it covers everything except A and D.
I'm taking a Dry A and D combination, but there is 1000 I.Us of D in my Chewable Calcium Citrate as well. How much is too much with D?
There is no magnesium in any of the stuff I take, should I add some? How much?
What about potassium? I used to avoid it because I took a potassium-sparing blood pressure pills but no more. I don't eat bananas, they just taste too good and have too much sugar for me. I know, just eat half, but then I hear the other half calling me.
Thanks for any advice!
Calcium and Iron aren't good to take together. One in the am and the other in the pm.
I take Country Life Adult Multi Chewables. I also take a load of vitamin C with it. Later I take an iron capsule 3 times a week and a sub-lingual B liquid three times a week. Calcium in the pm.
Vodka about mid day,,,, Speed ball around three and I stoke the crack pipe after 6.
