Ok guys! Anyone had a tummy tuck can give me good advice now, cause it will be too late after tomorrow at 6am! Of course it isn't the tt that freaks me out so much as I am having the butt cheeks lifted too, I am afraid I won't be able to bend at all or rip my stitches out or something, UGGHHHH!! I'm freaking out, all I remember is that surgery hurts! I am also weirded out to think that all this tummy won't be here tomorrow. I haven't seen below it in almost 20 years! It is almost like a weird child to me now. LOL! Wendy

Wendy, Trust me, you will be in heaven. Delightfully happy. I dont remember surgery hurting, I remember pulling and drains and mom cooking for me. lmao. Take photos of before....and remember it, and then look at it down the road, say in 5 months and you will be stunned. i know I am. Relax, and breathe, you are gonna do just great! And I know that! HAHAHHAHA!!! Haven't seen below it in 20 years!!! I know what you mean. You'll be fine. Yeah it hurts like hell. Don't chase the pain - take your dope on schedule. Keep it clean. Limit your movement and take a stool softener with every pain pill. Make the ol' man wait on you. Drink lots of fluid. Wear your compression garment. Don't pick your nose. Set up your rest place n the house with your books and tapes and CDs and computer. Get your jammies ready. Don't talk to Usta - she's an idiot. Wash the dog. Have lots of water on hand. Put Dr. Phill on speed dial so you can swear at him like I do. Let's see,,,,, did I forget anything???? OH yeah!!!! One more thing,, Please note that messages are moderated, and may take up to 48 hours to show up. Contact Member Services if you have any questions. kp

My thoughts will be with you tomorrow and many hugs for you ....also remember that this is part 2 of the new you. What scared me was the time I needed to take off work, and many other things went along with it. It's like pre-surgery jitters. But stand tall and imagine.......imagine how you want to look. It will take time to have the swelling go down, my feet looked like big balloons and I said to people I was ready for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade lmao!!! Take it slow, enjoy the ride, and know that in the end, when you look in the mirror, you will see the woman you want to be, and will be amazed at the transformation!!! You have my best wishes for a great surgery and recovery! hugs! Stacey

Who is doing your surgery and where is it being done? I am about a year from doing any PS, but I am gathering info now.

Dr. Alghenem in Flint, and I am doing it at McLaren Hospital. But I won't recommend him until I am all done and healed up, then I will tell you how he did. Wendy
