woooo hoooo Wendy - I'm so excited for you. Pain, well yes. But like KP said take your meds on time, don't wait until you're in pain to take them. I was in misery for about four days and then things got better. It is weird when the tummy is gone... but in a totally good way!!!!! You'll be great and be so glad that you had this done. Best of wishes to you, laurie

just dont try to over do----you need to walk etc.....but dont push yourself to go back to work too soon etc....this is a big undertaking (so to speak! LOL) and you really need to let yourself heal. make sure you have some protein drinks on hand as i was so not hungry afterwards......it was like someone made my pouch all over again..........but you want to make sure that you get your protein in and water! you are goingto do just fine.but it did knock me on my bum for 2 weeks............solid.........then i started coming back to the human race! so good luck to you and remember each day gets better! and wear your garments........that is so important for keeping the swelling down and promoting healing!!!!!!!!!!!i was rarely out of mine except to wa**** for the entire 6 weeks! hug rae

I was hoping the not hungry thing was the case, I have really gotten my appetite back lately LOL! Thank you for the advice, it is nice to hear that it gets better and the pain is temporary! Wendy

Hey Wendy, Hope all goes well for you and that the meds will leave you is such a state that you won't feel a thing or don't care if you do. LOL. Best wishes to you. God bless, Annette

Sorry this is after the fact but I am two and a half weeks out from a TT and getting my arms done. Vicadin, stool softners and my husbands recliner have been my best friend until last night. I slept in my own bed!! It was so nice. Walking when you feel up to it really has been helpful to me. I go back to work today and I still have some drainage with no drain in so it should be interesting. I'm praying all goes well for you today Wendy!
