Message from Kevin Phillips

Kevin sent this to several of us and asked for one of us to post it, i apologize if it's already been posted but i didn't see it so here 'tis: If you are looking for any time sensitive answers from me they will not be posted for quite some time after I reply. I am on moderation meaning all my posts have to be approved before they allow them to be seen by the public. I replied to the inquiry about Dr. Wood's office this morning and it still hasn't shown up. If you need something fast email me. Many of you have my email addy and if you don't ask Jon or Theresa or Connie or any of the old timers. kp

I knew that he was "in trouble" and being monitored but his response to the Dr.Wood post was there earlier so they must have decided to remove it. Holly

Call me ignorant but WHY is he being moderated??? I have not seen one post or reply from him on this board that in my humble opinion that would give reason for this action. Maybe I missed something?

Kevin is the Sanjaya of OH. (not to say that you are not talented, kp ) They need him more than he needs them.....you know what I mean? They love his controversy...it's like a soap opera that brings us back. If they moderate him, and he tells us about it, it gets us talking, which gets us posting, which means advertisers get to see that we are coming on the board. Don't forget to vote for KP after the show!!!!

All I can say is, "WHAT A CROCK OF $**T!" Sorry to be so strong in my feelings, but I'm just so ticked off right now! Geez, they just kicked off one of the most knowledgeable and entertaining posters here. Kevin has always been a great contributor to this site. Yes, he has rubbed some people the wrong way from time to time, but in my opinion, he only speaks from his heart in his own special way, using humor, etc., whether you want to hear it or not. And in truth?...He's usually right. I think some of us are just more sensitive than others. I feel we ALL are valuable posters/supporters...I hate to lose one that has helped MANY! And yes, I know the story of how this "excorcism" came about...very stupid reason to kick him out as far as I'm concerned. The woman that posted above him said WAY more negative things than him..(but still, not bad enought to be kicked off)....is she gone too?? Well Brenda, if you are right (which I think you are), OH just lost their "Melinda Doolittle" of OH!! Theresa

ya know i totally agree with you EXCEPT for the fact that Kevin knew what he was doing. He insulted someone, yet again, in no uncertain terms. He participates in another board where they brag about getting thrown off of this one. They insult the people on this board, gossip about it and brag to each other about being "banned for life" so in my opinion, he knew what he was doing and he's no victim. he could've easily taken issue with what was said without throwing personal insults into the mix. Hey i've been moderated before too because i've pushed the envelope, but he knew the game. This is not our board, we are allowed to use it and the people who run it have their own way of doing things. We either play their game, or we go. He's always it and i guarantee he's proud to have gone out the way he did. Yes, in my opinion, he's been the most helpful and contributed the most to these boards and i'm sad to see him go, but i also blame him, he could've stayed, he knew he was walking the line. He was proud of it. Insulting people and "winning" his weird game with the moderators was more important to him than sticking around and helping more people. He knew he wasn't going to win and the cards were stacked against him.

Hey i just want to be clear, I respect Kevin more than anyone and i consider him a friend, i'm not meaning to insinuate he did this on purpose or bailed on us, i'm just a bit angry because i think this whole thing was unnecessary and i think this board is gonna suck and be boring without him. Not to insult anyone else but Kevin was pretty much the only reason i read this board. I'm gonna miss him severely and i'm just pissed at everyone involved for turning this board into a joke. YES, the moderators and their petty little biases and unfairness which i've seen and battled perpetually myself, but also at everyone, myself included, who sometimes let's their pride get in the way of thinking and posting clearly. Perhaps i did that myself with that last post, I didn't mean to insult kevin, i'm just really in a bad place right now, having spent yesterday in the emergency room and being sick of being a pin cushion and science experiment for various hospitals in the area and i'm probably being too critical this morning.

You was in the emergency room? Did you find out if you had a seroma? Are you okay? You have had more than your share of pain, i hope you feel better soon. Hugs Linda

thanks, i'm not sure about the seroma as i missed my appointment with dr. s due to being at St. John Oakland and not wanting to go back to Riverview. I'm on my way to see S now so i'll let you know. thanks for the caring.

Dr. S says i'm okay and shouldn't worry about yesterday. The hospital i was out thought i had a blockage but i definitely don't. Also he doesn't think it's a seroma so i'm good there too and i got two out of three tubes pulled. only one more to go!!! Dr. S is an awesome guy. I'm so glad Mel and Kevin recommended him.
