Century Club!
Thanks Brenda... it does seem like my surgery wasn't that long ago, while other days it seems like forever to me... LOL...
I can't wait to leave on vacation... I have been looking forward to this for months.... We will be visiting a close friend that lives out of state and I can't wait to see her again...
Thanks again.

Thanks Sherry.. I am sure you will do great... I thought I would have a really hard time, and some days it is really hard and I cry over what I can't have, but it is soooo woth it... like the writer says... "nothing tastes as good as thin feels"... don't ever forget that.. LOL...
What I eat in a normal day.. well, first off, I have six kids... I rarely have a "Normal" day... LOL.. but this is what I think it is....
breakfast - 1 package banana bread weight control oatmeal made with skim milk
snack - 1/2 of a ready to drink isopure protein drink
lunch - either a protein shake or 1/2 can of low fat chili
snack - 1/4 cup of almonds or yogurt covered raisins (not everyone can tolerate the sugars in the raisins though).
dinner - 2 - 3 ounces of beef or pork and about an ounce of green beans
snack - small bowl of butter light popcorn
I know I have an extra snack but I have a skinny hubby that eats in front of me all the time really late at night, so that is why I have the popcorn, it works for me.. Some days when I really feel the need for a good snack I will have a couple sugar free mint milano cookies... they really take care of that urge to snack.... I hope that helped you some... I feel like I am eating all the time.. I have yet to get hungry since my surgery even when I have gone way past my time to eat.. I have to remind myself to eat... mostly I deal with the "head hunger" but it gets better all the time... My water is my best friend... LOL... Good luck on your surgery I am sure all will go well and you will be on the losers bench before you know it...

Hi Shawn,
I just saw this post and wanted to add my congratulations to you, too. Wow, century club so soon, you should really be proud of yourself. I had hoped to see you at the A2 support group meeting this month, but hope you have a great vacation. We won't recognize you when you get back!!!!!
Keep up the good work, and Onederland awaits.
