Hi Everyone, Been a while since my last post. Went to doctor yesterday, he says I still have my stricture and my ulcer! I have to go for yet another dialation; but they can't me in until May 7th. Meanwhile the struggle goes on; still not always holding food down. Doc said it is about 6% of the surgical pt. that have this problem. I am wondering when it will ever get normal?? Sometimes it even makes me regret my decision to have the surgery; because some much has went wrong. Then I am stuck on the scales once again; have lost at all in over 2 weeks. Not eating a whole lot either; so what's up with that?? Had RNY on Feb 5th of 07. Do you hit non losing spots so soon? How can I break this cycle? I am back to work a couple days a week; and exercising as well, doing exercise bike and the treadmill.. Still not getting in all my liquid; and sometimes struggling with the protein due to throwing up. Any advise appreciated. Take care all. Thanks Sincerely, Judy R

Stalls are very normal. Usually at 5 weeks, 2 months, etc. Keep an eye on your measurements because usually when you're not losing pounds, you're losing inches. I'm in a stall right now at 8 1/2 months. It drives me nuts even though I know what's happening. I'm adding more protein to my diet and changing my exercise around so maybe it'll kickstart the losing again.
