Awesome Dinner Dance w/Hurley

Hey Everyone, For all of you who did not go you missed an awesome dinner, fabulous dancing; and great fun at the Bavarian Inn. Last night we all got to strut our stuff; and meet others who have taken that same journey we have! Things we so nice it seems a shame if any of you missed it! They said it was so great will be there next year with same DJ as well. The DJ was soooo fun and funny; he had costumes, wigs and tricks up his sleve to keep up all going. There were people from their 20's to there 80's in the crowd. My hubby and I had the time of our lives. The food was exceptional! We should give a big thanks for all the planning and effort! Next year lets make it an even bigger event; all those who did not come you really missed a very special event. Happy Easter to all. Sincerely, Judy R.

I am glad you had a great time! I wish I could have been there, last year was really nice. I don't think I would have felt much like dancing though lol! Maybe next year. Wendy

Was this party just for those who had WLS at Hurley Medical Center?

Hi Mary, Yes it was! I think that all programs like Hurley should have something like this once a year for their post-op pts. It gave everyone a chance to have a great time, give one another encouragement and information; and show off all their hard work. I would sugest it to your program, doctors, or clinic.. After all we are the reason they are a sucess in their surgical programs.. Sincerely, Judy R

Sorry we didn't get there. We had reservations; but I didn't feel well all day yesterday. Glad they're going to repeat at the same place next year. We'll see you there next year.

Hiya! We went and had a great time It was nice to get dressed up and dance and have a great time in general. It was a great relaxing weekend and my hubby and I can't wait til next year! J

I must agree. The Hurley affair was wonderful. Everyone seemed to have had a great time. Dinner was great. The music was for all ages. I must say I'm a bit biased. The party planner was my sister, Renee Branch. I came as here guest even though I had my surgery 7 years and 110 lbs ago. Great job Sis. Talent really does run in our family. Love, Bun.
