When did they pull YOUR jp tube? I'm down to 50ml per day in the one tube i have left. I have to get it down to 30 or less before they'll pull it. I'm anxious as i want it gone. Last time i had it a month and a half, ran the risk of infection AND in my latest surgery they found a dried up "pocket" they had to remove from what was a seroma that formed from the last one anyhow. So what's the use????

They did not pull my last JP drain until I was draining less then 10cc and that was about two weeks post op. I know they are a big pain and I hated having it in after my tummy tuck. Tricia

oh no. i think if you randomly placed a tube in me anywhere i'd leak more than 10cc's a day. last time it was a month and a half and i never got under 70 per day. I have a concert to go to on Friday, i don't want to be dragging a stinkin' jp tube.

I'm only out a week and down to about 30 in one and 60 in the other. So this is a great question. It is really an irritating thing and I have to wear my hubbies boxers around with them pinned in and it looks like I am "happy to see ya" every time I get up and walk around the house! LOL! Wendy

Jay, mine did not get pulled until I was 10cc and under. It seems that men have a bigger problem with the tubes training longer. Maybe because a females body likes to "retain" fluid.?! I don't know. I hope yours stops soon so that you can get it removed. You surely don't want them to have to reinsert one if you start filling up with fluids after early removal. Have fun at your concert!!!
