SHould I be feeling this??????

Well for 1 it is only 6 days out but I still have sore spots on my stomache....and when I sit really still I can feel my heart beat????? I am probably just worried for no reason but I wanted to ask before I just go over board and call ...

Hi Crystal, Have one of your family take your pulse for 30 sec. have them count the beats and then double the number. I would do it a couple of times. Then call your surgeons office and let them decide if it is a problem. Are you having times when it feels like it is beating faster then others? If so check it when that happens also. If you where on any antidepressants or anti anxiety meds preop that you may not have taken since surgery. That could cause it. It could be nothing but it is best to check with the dr. you shouldn't feel guilty about it. I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care---Toni

Hi Crystal, My last name is Hunnicutt, how about that? I have not had surgery yet but in the process of getting ready. I have met with the surgeon, the internest, and behaviorist. I have to have a sleep study (I've had that done before) and a heart stress test. I guess those results will determine setting a date for my big day or "birthday".
