deperate need of help

i am in deperate need of help, i had weight loss surgery in 03, loss 175 lbs. have gained about 20-30 lbs back. i just seemed to be eating more and more, i know i need some councelling, support group, but i would really like to meet with a therapy. i'm on a fix income so i would need something reasonable. so if anyone know of a good therapist, support group, councelling in a group setting in the detroit michigan area please let me know

Try contacting your local health department, they should know the number of the local mental health department in your area, they charge fees on a sliding scale, based on your income, sometimes as little as $3.00 a session Good luck!

call Dr. Wood's office and ask to see his nutritionist. He will help you out..... hope this helps you....hugs judy

Dr. Wood's office has a support group every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 6pm. You could call them - their new number is 586-582-9316. There is a meeting tonight. I hope this helps. Hugs - Stephanie

Ellen, Try one of the local colleges such as Oakland U or Wayne. Many times there psych students need to counseling hours to complete their degrees. I know the one at OU is free. If you have any further questions, please feel free to shoot me an email.
