wanting info on DS

I am starting to research having surgery and different types. I am interested in the DS surgery and wondering if anyone can share their experiences with it. Also am looking for a surgeons name. I live in the metro detroit area and want to be close to home. thanks a lot Marci

Hi Marci, Dr.Lutrzykowski and Dr.Hares both in Bloomfield Hills do the DS. I had Dr.Lutrzykowski do mine 6 months ago. There are 2 other surgeons in Grand Rapids also, Dr.Foote and I forgot the other name. Have you been to the DS board here at OH? There is a great group of DS'ers to answer your questions.

Dr. Lutrzykowski was my surgeon as well. I am 6 years post-op. I have had my share of complications, but I would still do it all over again in a heart beat.
