Disapointed !!

yesterday I waited all day for the surgery nurse to call she told me last week I would no somthing by the end of this week ..a surgery date ..pre-op diet ..all that ..but she never called ..I even tried to call at 4:00 but could not get ahold of her ...am so down in the dumps ..I just want to have the date and start planning for my work scedual and all that ... I am not sure on the hold up I been approved for everything , my dr is Dr Foote..I think he is great ..just want to get moving on this . Sherry

Hi Sherry, I understand how you feel. When I had my surgery scheduled it was post-poned 3 times!!!!! It is very frustrating. Here you are finally at the approval and another hold up. Keep you chin up it will happen and when it does the new life you embark on will be well worth the wait! Trent

I know you are dissapointed but remember this is a long process and I am sure they have lots of people waiting for dates etc...have patience and you will hear news soon...I know the feeling of waiting.. SHannon

Hi Sherry, If I were you I would try calling first thing Monday and try to speak to someone, they are not very good about returning calls if you leave a message. Good luck and keep your chin up. Alan

Sherry, I had the same problem. I would call on Monday and speak to a person. They are very busy, but we need to plan for this. This is a major happening in our lives and must be planned for. I now have a surgery date and had my pre-op appt this past Wednesday. It will happen for you too. Deb

Sorry to hear that they didnt call back the waiting is the hardest part. Before you know it your day will be here. Then the waiting will be all behind you and you will wonder where the days went to so fast. Take care. Hugs Debbie M

Hi Sherry My experince with the office is I get results when I call them. I have talked to 2 different schedulers there for various appointments. And Kim is out for 2 weeks. Yes, they are a busy place, but waiting is SO hard. Call them first thing Monday morning! I hope to be in your shoes in a couple of weeks. Don't know if you saw my post to you last week but they told me Dr. Foote is scheduling for surgery Mid May right now. Good luck!!!!! Lynn

Thank you all for your responces ,I could not get back to the computer ..I had my granddaughter over nite and when I go to the computer desk she thinks she needs to be on grandmas lap...so its hard to write anything ...ya am just getting so moody its terrible I was hoping to hear somthing ..but I will call monday morning and hope thay tell me somthing .
