I have chosen a surgeon at mmpc

Dr. Kemmeter is going to do my surgery. Has anyone had him as a surgeon? If so, how did things go?

I am also going through mmpc but after talking to the nurse I am going to go with Dr. Baker, but I have heard that Dr. Kemmeter is excellent. I only went with Dr. Baker because I heard he is not so strict about a certain amount of weight loss before surgery. I just had a doctor cancel many years ago and I do not want to go through that again so I feel better mentally going with Dr. Baker only for that reason though. Good Luck. Hi Annette, Dr. Kemmeter did my surgery 10 months ago, everything went great. He is a good Dr. you are in good hands. Phyllis

Dr. Kemmeter did my RNY in October and just did a gall bladder removal on me this past Friday. I cannot say enough good about him. My husband also had RNY with him and feels the same way. Dr. Kemmeter is very caring and thorough. I've never heard anything bad about him. You will be in good hands with him! Jenn

I am so glad to hear that he's a good doctor. I hear a lot of people talking about how experienced Dr. Baker and Dr. Foote, but I hardly hear anything about Dr. Kemmeter. I'm glad to have found others that chose Dr. Kemmeter. I am now waiting for my papers to be sent to Priority Health for surgery approval. I got the results of the lab work and I have a B12 defeciency, Vitamin A & D is low. I am now taking vitamins to bring the levels up. But I am thinking about calling my Dr. to see if I could get the B12 shot. What do you all think?

If you go on line and research Dr. Kemmeter, I believe that you won't find any complaints about him. I can't say enough good about him. As far as the B12 goes, you should definately talk to your doctor so he/she can advise you. Good luck to you!
