Since surgery i have always exercised and walked. I thought i was doing a good work out. Last week i started a new job merchandising for a company for lowes in the garden center. Well with the weather last week there really wasn't much to do. Today i walk in and finally theres shipments of flowers. So, first i had to arrange all the older stuff to where it was supposed to go. First of all i had to move 120 five gallon rhododendrums (i know i spelled it wrong) . I had to bend over to the left , pick it up , and then swing to the right to put it onto the cart.....then do the same thing to put it onto the table. Next i had to do the same with the azaleas. then i had to unload carts. Wow, what a workout! It's going to be like this the next few weeks until we get everything shipped, then it will be twice a week. But i'm happy about it, for one it's going to help me lost those last few pounds, two, i'll tighten up a lot and be ready for my plastics, and third, it's way more money. Hopefully it won't take long to get used to it. Okay i'm off to get a hot shower. Hugs Linda

WAY COOL....... you're basically getting paid to exercise!!!!!!!!!! I sooooooo want to work for UPS for that very reason. I'd love to deliver packages and lift, and walk, and push the dolly cart around all day - I'd never have to go to the gym again. Glad that you're getting more money - you deserve it girlfriend!! Only 75 days left in Michigan - we'd better get planning a going away party (some will come to wish me well, some will come to party cuz I'm gone) heeheee Laurie

yep i get paid to exercise. It's a very cool position, i make my own schedule, my boss is hardly ever around, i get to stay outside, no weekends or holidays, total freedom. We definately have to get together before you leave. Are the kids happy about the move? Hugs Linda

That is definately a workout. I love working out in my garden for these same reasons, lifting, shoveling bending and pulling. Glad to hear it is helping you in more ways than one.
