Guess what?
Theresa,
WTG.....glad to hear that your doing your fluids and eating what you should. It can be difficult. I am now 2 yrs and a month out from my journey and do get my fluids every day. I always keep my water bottle with me all the time. Guess I couild leave it sometimes but continue to carry it all the time.
The weather makes it so much easier to walk doesn't it. We belong to our local YMCA and exercise there when the weather is bad. Hubby too. We can actually walk together now. But he usually walks faster than I do. Must be the short legs syndrome. LOL....
I havwe been lurking recently but will try harder to get on here and reply to people.
YAY for you is right. Keep up the great work girl.
Brenda

Thanks Brenda! Yeah, I really wish there were a YMCA in town here....nothing that is free, or a small joining fee. We have to gyms, but both are too much for me to pay right now. Just can't swing it. So, walking is going to be my thing now. I also have a walking tape now, in case it's too hot or it's raining. Have some hand weights too...would like to strengthen up a bit...I know it helps in the scheme of things. Thanks alot for your encouragement...ALL of you! Love ya, Theresa
Keep up the good work, Theresa, we know you can do it. Your posts have always been so inspiring to me over the last couple of years.
One way I get my water in is to start the day hydrated. I drink 32 ounces of water every morning when I get up. It takes me about 20-30 minutes to get it down, but it helps me get the day started. I never drink with meals, and I'm uncomfortable if I drink sooner than an hour after I've eaten, so I really focus on that much water at the beginning. I still drink 48-64 ounces of liquid during the rest of the day.
As for exercise, I figured out a long time ago that if I had to leave the house to go to a gym to exercise that I wouldn't do it. I always had an excuse as to why I didn't have the time to get there. So I work out to exercise DVDs at home. I can have my workout over by the time I would drive to the gym, change, and get home. Yes, I can't do all of the cool weight machines, but I use hand weights and resistance bands. I make myself workout four times a week minimum. I drink my water and change into my workout clothes, and then get going. It still isn't fun, but it's working for me.
Have a great Sunday.
