Delicious Strawberry Dessert!
Getting tired of having strawberries with SF ice cream or SF chocolate or SF angel food cake.... I came up with a delicious dessert.
I took Red Fat Crescent roll package. Used about 1/2 to 2/3 of the rolls. Pressed until thin into an 8 x 8 pan. Made sure I put the dough on the sides just a bit. Took a fork and 'stabbed' it numerous times to prevent air bubbles. Put in the oven (temp on package****il it was golden brown. Let cool. While it was baking I took a small package of SF Jello Pudding - Vanilla flavor and mixed it with 1-1/2 cups of 1/2% milk. Put in fridge to thicken. Then I took fresh strawberries (almost one plastic container) and cleaned them. Put them in my masher and then into a small bowl. Added a small amount of Splenda (to your liking) and let that set. When the base was cool, I spread the pudding. Then I put the strawberries on top. THEN I drizzled a small amount of SF chocolate syrup. Put back in fridge to set. A bit later both hubby and I had a small piece. OMG, it was good!!! Low fat, Low to no sugar, Low carbs, DELICIOUS!!!

Sounds good!!!!
Here is another one for you....
Strawberry dessert
1 sm sf cook and serve vanilla pudding
2 cups water
1 sm sf jello (strawberry)
4 cups sliced strawberries
in saucepan stir water and pudding til it comes to a boil, remove from heat and add the jello stir til dissolved and set aside.
Slice strawberries into 8x8 dish. Pour pudding/jello mixture over strawberries and put it in ref til set.
Can add cool whip on top if you like...Very good!!!
If you've ever had the strawberry pretzel desert, that is wonderful too! I used to make this everytime we had a family get together (always requested!). After surgery, I started making it with splenda(regular and brown sugar splenda - doesn't call for much), sugar free jello, sugar free cool whip, no sugar added frozen strawberries, and low fat cream cheese. You can't tell the difference. It makes a great, light desert.
Yours sounds good, too. I love just about anything with strawberries in it!
