i love it.........i really dont find it bad tasting at all......but it has a whitish base not clear--so if you are looking for it to be clear in a soup it will not be like that........you may want to try their chicken flavored to add to your soup..........i use the unflavored in my coffee and in a million other things............but each persons taste is different..........it doesnt have the protein taste to me that many of the others do--and it dissolves well and doesnt cause much thickening of the substance that you are putting it in.............just my thoughts! good luck rae--they have sample packets i think that you can order......you might check their website..........jerome is their person.....he is very informative and response to concerns..........good luck rae
