Morel hunters

Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone else out there goes out in the woods for long walks looking for the ever elusive morel mushroom? With the rain we just had and hopefully warm weather starting those little buggers should be popping up very soon. It is good exercise and they are very good to eat. I am only 6 weeks out so I dont know if I can eat them yet but there is always the dehydrator. Scott

i have never hunted for morels....but it sounds like fun..........where do you usually go to do that (or are the locations top secret! ) grin

Hello, I haven't been out yet, but my brother in-law has been finding Blacks for the past week up near East Jordan. I am hoping to be recovered in time for the whites when they pop out. I plan on drying them unitl I am able to eat them. Alan
