higher levels in my liver

i had bloodwork done about 7 weeks ago and just had it repeated and my liver count is up 3 fold my dr told me today. she told me different things it could be none of which makes me feel ok at all. i had more bloodwork done today and have to get an ultrasound of my liver anyone have any ideas of what it could be? she took me off some of my meds i can't take darvocet anymore and that was the only pain med i could. always read the information you get with your scripts because the new med she gave me i can't take because of one i am already on. i called the pharmacy because they should of seen that and of course it was blamed on someone else that wasn't there. anyway please let me know if any of you has had this problem. thanks much barb my email is [email protected]

I have had some pain issues over the last several months. When my issues began, they found my liver enzymes to be elevated. To make a long story short, they ended up doing a liver biopsy and I tested positive for acute hepatitis. Except I didn't match up for any of the hepatitis that you hear about (A, B, C, etc.) Basically they told me that I must have had some sort of viral infection and that's why my liver count was high. It eventually went back down to normal. It seems that a lot more people these days (gastric bypass patients) are having increased liver counts. Hmmmm
