New to Mi board but not surgery

Hi, I was told by a poster in Florida to check out your board. I am back up here for the summer and was going to check out surgeons here rather than waite to go back south. I was looking into having Dr. Rosental at the Cleveland clinic but I would have to waite for the winter and I thought since I was back why not do it here. Right now I am at my sisters house in Wyoming and next week I will go to mine in Rochester. My name is Mark and I retired from runing a charter boat in Marathon Florida after and accident on the boat. I just live on it during the winter now. I have been interested in surgery for three years. I cna only check in once in a while as my sister has no internet. I have to go to a library. Hope to hear from more of you soon. Mark

Hope to hear more from you and good luck with your decision. I know that a lot of us here are happy we went ahead and did the surgery. I wouldn't change my decision for ANYTHING! But make sure it is right for you and research is the smartest thing you can do! I have learned ALOT from research and it helps me cope with all aspects of my daily life as a post op. Wendy

Dr. Rosenthal did my surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston FL. my buddy lives on Marathon Key. I lived in Palm Beach for 25 years (till last year). Whatup?! you might want to wait for Dr. Rosenthal. he's an amazingly accomplished bariatric surgeon. If you are set on doing it up here, i know a great surgeon who took over my care after i moved up here. Also extremely accomplished.
