Plus Size Clothing Sale

Hi Everyone, I posted this on the 3day message forum and thought I would post it on all of the message boards I visit. If you know anyone that may need plus size clothing please send them my way. Thank you. God bless, Annette On Saturday May 5th, 2007 "The Henry Ford Motor city Losers" are having a plus size clothing* sale. We have lots of plus sizes available, along with many other items. Please look for our table during the Westland V.F.W Flea Market. The V.F.W. is located in Westland Mi. on Wayne Rd. at Avondale between Palmer and Cherry Hill Rd's. Hi Annette, Another idea for the flea market is having baked items, I would be happy to make something SF (they NEVER have anything sugar free there, so it might go real good). It is just a thought, and some flea markets don't want you selling food, so you would have to check on that. Let me know and I will make something and put it in baggies. This might be a great way to introduce your "speciality" bread ! Also, get with me if you can use a med id bracelet for a raffle prize or something, I will get one made to donate. Hi Kathie, Thank you for the reminder. I was going to ask him about that, but forgot to. I've got a phone number for the person in charge of tables and such up at the mall. I have to call her on Monday to see if they will let us have a bake sale up there the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before Mothers day. All donations of baked goods (both full sugar/Full Fat and Sugar Free/Reduced Fat) are welcome. I'll let you know what both the V.F.W., and the Mall says about it. Miss you, talk to you later. Hi Kathy, He said their womens aux(how ever it's spelled) were doing a bake sale and the fliers said no baked good allowed to be sold. He also said to bring them anyhow, I told him no that wouldn't be right. So he was going to check with the women to see if we could sell some to. I told him we would wait on it. I am trying to get a hold of a lady at the mall to see if we can set up a tablt next week for mothers day to sell baked goods. She still hasn't gotten back to me about it. The medical id braclet would make a good prise for our bowling night. Now I just ned to get busy and sell some tickets Talk to you later. God bless, Annette P.S. are you planning to walk with us?

I don't need any plus size clothes, but for fun I might talk my hubby into coming down and checking out the flea market and meeting you guys Annette! Would love to meet you! Maybe I have a few things left I could bring and donate for you. I will check. Hope I can make it though, I never know what will pop up in this crazy mess of a family! LOL! Wendy

Thanks for posting this. I'm in desperate need of clothes, but refuse to spend top $$ for them. Hopefully I'll be able to find something...I'm sort of in between regular and plus size clothing, so it's been difficult to find things to fit. Funny, I had that trouble before, but that's because I couldn't find anything big enough.

Hi Shawneena, Come on over and see me. We are pricing these clothes to sell. I well remember not being able to find clothes big enough. I was shrinking so fast that I didn't want to pay top $$$ for clothes to have them not fit in a couple of weeks. Thats the beauty of why this is such a good thing. People get good clothes at a good price. We make money for our cause ~Breast Cancer Awareness, Research, and Treatment. It's a win-win situation Hope to see you there. God bless, Annette

Hi Deb, I am doing the walk. Isn't it awesome! It's my first one to~at least my first 3day walk. I am looking foward to it. Do you have a team? My team is the Henry Ford "Motor City Losers". I am so excited about it. This walk is really special to me because before my surgery I could hardly walk at all. To think I will be walking for 60 miles in just 3 day to me is incredible. How are you doing with your fund raising? I have a long way to go. I am doing training walks at Heritage Park in Taylor on Fridays from 6:45 to about 8:15 if you are in the area please feel free to stop by and train with us. When I went to the expo in Novi there was someone named Becky. She knew who I was but I'm not sure where I know her from. Do know a Becky thats walking? Talk to you later. God bless, Annette
