Update...

Wow i've missed you all...how's everyone doing? So much has happened in the past few months I barely even have a chance to breathe. My surgery was once again put off because I need another gastroscopy and I am still waiting for the date, so I can again re-apply for surgery and have this RNY done. Here's the news...my father in-law has three teens and he is dying, so in the past few months of not being on the boards, I am in the process of buying a home, welcoming my father in-law who lives many moons northwest and 3 teens..that's right 3 teens! My B/f and I are becoming foster parents to his half-brothers and sisters. So I think I will be having the RNY if I get approved again..in September. I thought it might be easier to do it in September, so that I can spend the summer with the father inlaw and kids before they go back to school. Since this will be a whole new environment for them. They are traveling from Alberta, where the oil sands are...which is about a two day travel from Alaska, since they live further North. It's going to be a big adjustment for all of us, but we have many resources and I am actually excited and happy! Oh yeah and I lost my job, but it's a good thing 'cause I'll have more time for the kids. I skipped the cute stage of infancy and jumped right in to the challenge of teens! Go figure lol!
