Ann Arbor-Chelsea support group

The A2-Chelsea support group meeting is scheduled for this Friday night, May 4, at Panera's on Jackson Road in Ann Arbor, at 5:30. I will not be there, unfortunately, as my mom is in the UofM Hospital. I've been there nonstop since Friday night, except to run home and clean up. I had previously said I would be there, and didn't want to have anyone waiting on me. Susan F., I am sorry I won't be able to give you a ride. I hope some of the rest of you will still be able to make it. There should be something called the "hospital diet", you don't even have to be an inpatient to lose weight. Add together the stress and the poor cafeteria choices can lead one to lose weight. I have brought protein powder with me to make shakes in my mom's room. Debra M.

(((((((Debra))))))) I hope your mom gets better soon. Unfortunately I won't be there either, my Aunt is in St. Mary's and I told my mom I would take her that evening to visit her. My mom got a concusion (sp?) the other day and can't drive herself for a while so we need to pool together to get her where she needs to be. Plus I want to see my Aunt.. she is not doing very well and is in ICU right now. Keep her in your prayers. Hopefully I will get to the meeting next month, but then again it is the day before my son's graduation party so it will depend on how much I have done for the party... Hope you all enjoy yourself.
