I'm home

Surgery went well ! The first day was rough -- didn't do too well with the meds that were in my pump. Once we got that figured out things were on the right track. Been walking, ALOT and sipping but still havent' had any gas come out yet LOL I feel rumblings but thats about it. The only other thing is, i'm so tired ! But i'm sure that will pass as well. Thank you all for your encouraging words and thoughts ! I'm officially on the losers team ! WOO HOO ~~Rona

Yeah Rona!! I had the same exact thing. Gas started passing on the way home from the hospital. The whole thing was a little more uncomfortabel than I expected. But once I got home things have been getting better. I'm glad that you are home and doing well. Joni

Rona, Welcome Home!!!!!!! remember to take it slow, baby steps. Walking around helps get the gas out ....and keep chipped ice handy to help get the fluids in! I know I loved chipped ice with sf koolaid when I got home. Sometime when I'm on my way to my Mom's, we should meet. I go through Gaylord to get to Alpena...and love that place! (especially in summer!) Congrats for making it to the losers bench!!! Stacey W
