BCBS question

I was wondering when I pay my co payment before surgery at the dr office or do I pay at the hospital ? NO ONE HAS SAID ANYTHING TO ME OR DOSE BCBS BILL ME ? opps didnt mean the capitals lol hugs Sherry

Depends on the doctor/hospital. Some want it upfront, others bill you for it later. I had to pay Barix up front, $500.00. I guess call them and ask? Cynthia

Blue Cross will never bill you your copay. The copay will be billed by the Dr. it is owed to. The copay is applied to the first bill that comes into Blue Cross and each bell thereafter until you meet your copay maximum.

I had to pay $600 down on mine and then I waited for the bill to come.
