Has anyone dealt with BC/BS's Blue Care Network?

All I know for a fact is that they do cover the surgery but you have to do a 12 month program with your PCP for 12 months. What exactly do they cover for a weight loss program? I seem to get the run around when I try to ask questions. My doctor is also curious as to what they cover! Any help is greatly appreciated! I just desperately want to get this started!

You should probably just call BCBS and see what they will need. Ask for a list of criteria for WLS. They SHOULD be willing to help you! Good luck.

I have BCN and you will have to call them to find out exactly what you need. Make sure you write everything down and get names and phone numbers. They are very hard to deal with. You will have a fight on your hands for sure. There are people on this board who have fought with them for months. I was luck and only had to wait 6 weeks but it was still a fight.
