Has anyone been in this situation then get approved?

Hi all! Because I felt sorry for myself, havent posted on here for months! Anyways, my insurance company, coresource/caremark said I had to be on a 6 month supervised diet. Next week's visit is my month 5 visit and I havent lost but a few pounds! TOTAL! Will they see that and deny me? I feel like Im forking out all this money just to be let down. I want to love life, not be so insecure with myself, feel normal and healthy! Has anybody out there lose but a few pounds and still got approved? Thanks in advance.

No, actually it's a good thing. You tried another diet that didn't work and that proves that surgery would probably be the best thing for you. Stacey B

I bet that in a couple months you will be saying ohh guess what I am getting surgery. I think that they (your insurance) wanted to see that you really can't lose with out this tool of having surgery....Hang in there....Soon you will be next in line for surgery. I do understand the heart aches of trying a hard diet and not doing so good, like many of us on here have.....Good luck and let us know how you are doing...

If diets worked for us we would not need surgery..... keep your chin up I got a feeling your life is going to change.
