Bay City support group

The group will be meeting this month in Clio, at Mary's home. Let her know if you need directions. I am sorry but I won't be able to lead group this month. I am having issues with my Blazer, still not quite sure what the problems are, but I try not to go tooo awfully far with it and my DH won't be home from work before I would have to leave, he is afraid if something happens and he is to far away he won't be able to help. (he is a truck driver). Sometime he can get home as late as 10 or 11. I asked Pam to lead group for this month. She is very versed in the subject and I am sure you will enjoy her and all that she can and will bring to the table. Thanks again Pam, for filling in. I really do appreciate it. Group will be at my home in Sebewaing next month. I am planning to grill Salmon, chicken, and maybe shrimp. Just think about what you want to bring accordingly. Weather permitting we will have group outside. I am hoping to get my new patio furniture for mothers day (hint, hint, to my family....LOL). Hey if they don't buy it well, I will just buy it myself.....LOL.

Toni: You'll certainly be missed tomorrow night .... I hate when I've got car problems! You don't realize how much you rely on that thing until it's not working right. I'm happy to step in and try to fill your shoes this month. I just hope I do as good a job as you do. We'll be (hopefully) watching a portion of the documentary that Jenny talked about last month. Yes, I ran right out and bought the DVD! LOL The movie came with some handouts that we'll have a chance to discuss together. It's pretty interesting and I'm looking forward to watching it again. And yes.... I will be bringing those Double Chocolate Sugar-Free Protein Bars. As requested. Pam

Hi Judy, No Ali can make it this month. She has to many thing to do to get ready for her surgery and getting a dress for her daughters wedding, because it was postponed, it thru her WHOLE schedule off! She is having her surgery friday morning and she is going down the day before. She just has to many things to do before she has her surgery. She is leaving town in june and won't be back for 3wks so, things are just too crazy for her right now. On top of that she thinks she spranged her ankle! Good grief. Ya know what they say.....When it rains it pours.------Toni

Doesn't sound like anyone is going to Mary's for the meeting...You, Alice, Sue, Mary Jo, haven't heard from Marie or Kristy....Jenny can't make it she has to pick up her girls from day care her hubby is working nights....Not sure if I can make it the way my back is hurting me. Maybe this is a bad time for a meeting....To many not showing up....I am going to try my best to get there but am not promising. Dr has me on valium and a lidocane patch for the pain and I get so tired and the pain is so intense I could scream!!! Well sorry that you don't have a way to the meeting.....Maybe see you next month huh?? Hugs Judy

Judy, I'm so glad you made it to the meeting after all. Your valium and lidocane patch added a little groovy feel to the group. LOL Pam did a wonderful job of leading everything. Hi Mary!! LOL I had a good time (I think lol) I know I waas there for the meeting but not sure what all happened.....Omg I was soooooooo out of it!!!! Atleast like you said...I did show up for it!!!!! The soup was good and so was your chicken salad!!!! Just think in just over a month you will be on the loser's bench!!!!! Wooohoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Toni, When will the June group meeting be? Will it still be the 2nd Wednesday? Or will you have it on the day you said there was a parade or something? I'm sorry, I just don't remember. Mary

Mary, That is so weird, I was just thinking about that, because if your surgery is the 14th, if I keep it at the normal day (second wed) you would be able to come once more before surgery, but the only problem is that it falls the day before your surgery. The week before surgery can be sooo hectic. Some want that last meeting prior and some just don't have time to fit it in. Since you are going close to home and don't have to go down the night before, it may not bother you, but I do know you have a little one. That is an added stress in itself. I know how hectic it was for me and my kids are grown. I guess the decision is up to you. You may not beable to even make a decision till the last minute. That is understandable. As we all know to well LIFE happens...LOL. Whatever you decide will be fine. We will just keep it on our normal day, It will probably be best for everyone.
