Ponderosa Steak House - FYI

If you show your card from your doctor or from OH, you can get a medical buffet for $4.49. This is more than the kids buffet but half price (at least) from having to buy a steak and the buffet. I found some healthy choices there this afternoon. They had baked ham, chicken (mexican style), steamed veggies and I even had a fork or two of mashed potatoes. I enjoyed my lunch as much as anyone there but I sure didn't stuff myself like I saw some of these people doing. I guess they were trying to get their money's worth by eating 3, 4 or 5 plates of food. I never did that in the past but it sure looks horrible to see someone eat that way now. The last time we were there was Thanksgiving. We don't go out to eat much because it's easier to watch my food and the ingredients if I make it at home but there's certain days that I just don't feel like cooking.

I never got a card??? When are you supposed to get a card?? Is it at your 2 wk appointment???? If so I should get mine tomorow then Jamie

Hi Jamie...They have the cards up at the desk when you sign in...There is the dr's cards and all the others on the stand and you can just take one. Good luck on your 2 week check up!!!!! Hope you are doing great!!!! Let me know how you did!!! Hugs Judy

I think I got my card at 2 weeks or maybe even sooner...we have been to Canada..and they even honored it there.... but Golden Corral doesn't here.....and I even wrote an email to corporate asking why....no repsonse Anyone else know where they do?
