I am schedule for my Lap- RNY tomorrow at 10:00am, @ the Barix clinic in Ypsilanti MI. I am really excited by also nervous. I just want to start my journey. The closer get it gets to my time, the nervous I get. Could some one tell me is this normal? I have read a lot of people surgery experience; trying to get a ideal of what my experience will be like or what to expected. I am just going to pack and try to stay busy for the rest of the day. Please say a pray for me. -Kimberly

Ok Kimberly take a deep breath.....Now...Slowly exhale.....Ok calm down!!! You will be fine!!!! It is normal to be nervous right now...But a secret to tell you....The calmer you are the better your surgery will be and you will be healing much quicker!!!! So try to calm down and you will be ok. If you are still nervous let them know tomorrow and they will give you something to calm you down. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery!!!! Keep us posted on how you are doing!!! Good Luck!!! Hugs Judy

I'm praying Kimberly, tonight and all day tomorrow. I use to spend a lot of time on my knees, praying for God to give me direction in my life and with my weight. He directed me to all of you. Now I spend a lot of time on my knees (and in my car, and at the store, and at kid's school) watching the clock and praying for each of us on our surgery date and time. Don't be nervous we are all there for you in spirit...regardless of which side of surgery we are on... Blessings, Lexia
