Any recomendations or suggestions???

I am in the preop stage and only need 1 more thing to get the ball rolling with things. I need a letter from my PCP but he does not support WLS. I live in the Linden area and need a doctor who wont have a problem doing this. Any suggestions??? Or referrals???? Thanks in advance. Patti.

hi patti i am 6 years post-op and my pcp didnt wanna give me a referal either and i told him how could you not give me a referal knowing i had arrythmia and heart disease runs in the family and he finally gave me a referal. so maybe you could try something like that. i since then changed pcp and now i go to dr. minisian in grand blanc and he is a wonderful pcp and does pre-op testing for hurley weight loss surgery patients. maybe you should try switching pcp and try and find one who will help you.maybe the place who your having your surgery with can help you. good luck.
