this is all new to me (scared of getting it done and scared not too) help

Hello All. My name is Michelle, I live in windsor ontario Canada. I finally got the courage to ask my family doctor about getting a gastric bypass done. Well he was all for it, fowarded all my info to the Ontario health care (ohip) .They approved it (wow) I see the Dr keith marshall for the first time next week, scared of him saying no but also scared about having it done. I tried too many weight loss programs and have failed. For my own health and mind i think this is the best solution. If anyone has been with Dr marshall or has any suggestion please let me know. Michelle, I'm still in the process of waiting for insurance approval, and I don't know Dr Marshall. What I can tell you is do the research so you aren't so frightened. I stumbled onto OH in researching weight loss surgery a couple weeks ago, and like you I was scared and had a million questions. Michelle Good for you!! What a big step. I am from Canada too I had surgery in Michigan I am 6 weeks out today and It is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I am down 33 pounds and over 34 inches I feel fantastic and once approved did not give it a second thought. I followed all the dr and Nutritionists advice and never cheated.
