Plateau--

It seems that after 6 months and 81# that I have hit a plateau. Can anyone out there give me some hints on how to jump start things again? Thanks!!!

I'm having the same problem. I am 9 months out, 70 lbs. down and the scale will not budge. I'm trying a protein fast for 48 hours to see if that will break it, but any tips and/or suggestions would be helpful!

These plateaus are normal. Your body is actually catching up to the weight loss. It can take 2-3 weeks to break. I find that if I up the exercise, water and protein that the plateaus don't last quite as long but it's still hard to watch that scale not move. Make sure you're taking your measurements because I've also found that when I'm not losing the weight, my measurements are slowly moving down.
