6 month medically supervised diet question..

Hello everyone, Does anyone know if the 6 month medically supervised diet means you must go to your doc once a month for 6 months to " weigh in" or is the fact you have several entries in your med records that you have diet attempts and failed.I have BCBS of Minnesota insurance, and they have sprung this on me now. Yes I had to go every month for 6 months and take in a journal of what I ate and the exercise I did also. Hope that helps and good luck on your journey. Debbie M
